OUR STORY
growing up
Both of us grew up surrounded by very family-oriented people, so from a young age, we understood how important family would always be to us. We owe so much to the sweet and loving families we were lucky enough to grow up around and learn from.
Thank you - David, Eugene, Irina and Kristen, for showing us a kind of love that has deeply shaped the way we are, and care for one another. The way you show up for each other, lift each other up, and continue growing together has been such a meaningful example for us.

the beginning
We first met at a Tate McRae concert at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, after our siblings, Eden and Jesse, who were dating at the time, thought it would be fun to introduce us. We continued spending time together as a group, and while we had both agreed we were just friends, soon we started making plans just the two of us because, of course, we were “just friends.”
After Hilary surprised Jacob with the best homemade cinnamon rolls for his birthday, he realized they may not have been “just friends” after all. A few days later, we made it official and went on our first hike together, where this photo was taken.

falling in love
We continued going on spontaneous adventures — sunrise breakfast picnics in North Bend, road trips to Whidbey and the San Juan Islands, hikes in the Cascades, matching outfits at concerts and festivals, and everything in between. We just loved doing everything together.
That love for exploring took us to Europe, where we visited London, Belgium, and Paris. We walked through Bruges, had afternoon tea at Fortnum & Mason, tried cafés and bakeries, placed a lock with our initials in Montmartre, and had a picnic behind the Eiffel Tower.

the proposal
Over the past two and a half years, traveling together has become one of the things that has brought us closest. We have loved exploring new places, trying new foods - finding the most beautiful things to experience together.
Switzerland was a place we had always dreamed of visiting, and in September 2025, we finally went. While staying in Grindelwald, surrounded by the Alps, rolling green hills, and of course, fluffy cows with bells, Jacob led Hilary up a steep grassy hill, where a surprise picnic was waiting. As the sun started to set, Jacob proposed, and afterward we celebrated with dinner at Glacier, a Michelin fine dining restaurant. Between the proposal, Swiss chocolate, beautiful cities, and the most unbelievable nature we had ever seen, Switzerland became a place we will never forget. This photo was taken later in the trip near the Matterhorn.

to our favorite people,
We are so excited to celebrate this day with you!
When we pictured our wedding, we kept coming back to the same ideas: being surrounded by the people we love, somewhere beautiful, peaceful, but also full of life. Evergreen Meadows felt like the perfect place for that; tucked into the trees, surrounded by nature, and close to the mountains.
More than anything, we hope it's a night where everyone can celebrate, eat good food, dance, laugh, and be part of a memory we will never forget. We are so lucky to be supported by such incredible people, and we are grateful for each and every one of you!
Thank you for being part of our lives and helping us start this next chapter. We cannot wait to celebrate with you all!
- Jacob and Hilary
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
